Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Bun morning, Everybun!

We're doing well, all things considered.
Charlie hit a rough spot on Thursday with blood detected in her urine spots. It was around ten at night, so there wasn't much we could have done aside from a dose of Metacam.

Our primary v.e.t. is closed on Fridays, and that always makes it a real twist and a kick in the gizzard for my biped.

But she improved substantially by that evening. She became more mobile and active in general. Metacam (an anti-inflammatory), with the regular evening meds, probably helped.

We wrote up all the gory details in a text message for the v.e.t, called them first thing this morning, and we'll be seeing Dr. Zellner on M*nd*y.

Oh, "What about the rest of the week?" you ask!? We arted a few nights, OK!? The "other - other" rest of the week was just a slurry of expletives, so pick your favorites and consider yourself "informed." If you want, punch yourself in the gizzard a few times, and you've got the whole picture.

We'll keep you posted!

Rice and Roni

Yeah, so I had a welding accident. I was putting new spikes on my brass knuckles before going to the canteen to settle my tab. What happened to your leg, Roni?

I was repairing a surgical robot, and it glitched. Before I could turn it off, it sawed off my leg.

Yeah, that flight to Neptune was something else.

- Thank you, Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue and Erika!

P.S.:Rice and Roni are energetic and independent brothers. Roni had a rear leg removed. Rice has an eye injury. They are looking for a rabbit-savvy home only.  https://bhrabbitrescue.org/available-soon-rice-roni/

Grover

Well, if you have extra thoughts you don't want, let's mix 'em with pellets and see if we can grow a bunnana or something.

- Thank you, Jen, and SFHRR

P.S.: Grover loves to be held or just to hang out near you - a lot.  He loves couch cuddles, and you get kisses in return. We think Grover is about 20 weeks old. He would love to have his forever home - better yet, to share it with his brother, Coconut. They are a tiny, bonded band of brothers. https://www.wagtopia.com/search/pet?id=2831356&name=Grover

The Bunday Evening Thumps

Bun evening, Everybun!

Tucks out, loafing, not a care in the world today.

The biped's been down a peg all weekend after getting some preventative health maintenance done, and couldn't bug us as much as he would like to. Boo hoo!

We still arted last night, and all that, but when we disappeared, he just let us be. It's been very relaxing.

Unfortunately, he also put together why we've had such nice weather these past few days. Good grief, all that livingness getting deluged up north; right when we're about to start cheering a hurricane season that didn't season us for a change. Here, it's been two years since Hurricane Helene grazed us. Milton followed a week later :-(

Good night and good luck!
- Gus

P.S.: Equinox skies on Tuesday put on quite the show <3
