Good evening, Everybun!
We're just letting our hoomin spoil us rotten. It's a tough job, but somebuny's gotta do it. Maybe he feels bad about Espresso getting his shot yesterday, and the tear duct flushing. Oof.
The good news is, 'Spresso is doing well. His eye is not weeping anymore; the ducts are draining properly.
In other news, this morning, my hoomin thought setting up his "studio" next to my bin would be a good idea. I tolerated it as much as I could, but even my patience had limits. He would sip his coffea beverage - without as much as a token offer to share - and nag me about what he thought of his sketches. I knew that sooner or later, he would have to get up and disappear for a minute. He did. So, I came out of my bundo, tore up what I could, and promptly disappeared.
I don't think he got the point. He wailed and wailed about how he doesn't care what I think, that he'll start on the painting today, and on and on. I warned him. Then he threatened he'd have some preliminary sketches to show next week.
Goodnight and good luck!
- Gus
Hellos, Everybunny!
First, we're keeping all our friends and wildlife affected by the Cal fires in our thoughts. And now we kinda have absolutely nothing to gripe about.
We're having a day, and we're grateful. We do a lot of that stuff in the picture. Our hoomin can't get enough of that. Go figure - must be the small pleasure in life.
Espresso got vaccinated today. On top of that, the doctor was able to examine his weepy eye and flush his tear ducts. We're stopping the NeoPolyDex drops (he's been on them for four days), and we'll give him Oflaxicin for seven days. He'll have a recheck on February 1st during the vaccine booster visit.
Now we're enjoying this coldish, overcast day. I wish we could send some of it out west to Cal.
We'll keep you posted!
-Charlie
