The Bunday Evening Thumps

Good evening, Everybun!

We're trying to cram nothing into the day, and the hoomin is trying to do the opposite. Our new routine includes finding a sunny spot in the afternoon and soaking up every sun ray.

We're still trying to get used to the two of us doing the work of three muses. The putting up with extra head rubs, roaming the whole place. I'm the exploring kind, and the kitchen is fair game now. I can squeeze into space the Murderizer never bothered to look at.

And I told the hoomin that shaggy green needs to go. It was a good try. But it's acrylic; it will be dry and ready to be painted over by the time this post is up. And we still don't know where those two are hopping to. Of course, the point is to keep hopping.

Hellos, Everybun!

It's been a quiet week in the burrow, and we plan to keep the weekend quiet, too. Of course, we'll try to play it cool, too, since it's summer here. Yes, it's only April, but the thermometers would tell you differently. Sigh. 

We're trying to enjoy this easy-going break, the world on fire notwithstanding. I know the hoomin will try to loaf with us as much as we can stand him, but maybe I'll cut him some slack. He's hanging out with us an awful lot lately. Now, cookies are usually involved, so I can't complain too much.

He's threatening to put in some painting today, so we'll need to be doubly watchful.
