Dang! Just how long is it gonna be before the hoomin catches on!?
- Thank you, Susan!
P.S.: Of course, Alexander is a very, very good boi, and he never, ever messes with his hoomin. He knows he won the bunn-lotto and likes to keep things peachy ;-)I disapprove; therefore, I am!

Good evening, Everybun!
It's been a very quiet weekend. Everybunny chilled, napped, and took it easy for a change. Charlie keeps getting a little better, her appetite is good, and pellets are a plenty.
The weather is cooperating, the news turned out, and Charlie's portrait is done. And the big plan for next week is to get enough sleep, at least according to my scribe. It must be the fatigue talking.
Good night and good luck!
- Gus
P.S.: Of course there won't be much sleep going on next week. Mark my word - he'll start another art project or something, thump!

Bun morning, Everybun!
We had a good, albeit short, appointment with the V. E. T. Charlie lost 190 grams; her bladder was still inflamed, but she was doing pretty well otherwise. Charlie got a little bit more Metacam to help with the inflammation. She continues to improve. Yes, it's been over two weeks now, and we kinda wonder if we'll ever get out of these woods. And how?
The biped has been trying to get her to eat more on her own, trying all sorts of tricks and treats, short of offering charging cables and such. We really may have to resort to syringe feeding again.
So, the oscillations between agony and ecstasy continue. "Oh! She's in the bin noming hay! She hid again. She's out loafing, tucks out and all! Did she really lose her appetite for cookies!? Oh, look! She ran up to the hoomin when she heard the cookie bag! She smelled the treat and turned away."
Take this morning, for example. We got up at our usual time, hopped around, sniffed the treats, and went right back to our nighty spot. Then the tray of kudzu and willow came out, and Charlie liked it. Then a small herb salad and Charlie's morning meds - can't complain. We cleaned up pretty well. But we're not coming out to loaf like we usually would. So, what does it mean? Are these changes permanent?
Can you buy a timeshare at a loony bin? Asking for a biped.
We'll keep you posted!
- Gus
P.S.: Oh, look! She's noming oat hay in the bin!
- Thank you, Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue and Erika!
