The Bunday Evening Thumps

Good evening, Everybun!

It's been stormy and cloudy all day, and the giant flamethrower in the sky stayed out of sight.

Our biped also stayed out of sight as much as he could. Of course, hanging out with us and staying out of sight are somewhat mutually exclusive, but we need a weekend once in a while too. 

Don't worry, though - the afternoon is still young, and he'll do what he can to make up for this this evening.

All of his pencils and stuff are picked out and lined up.

And if all goes well, there won't be anything to report till next Saturday. Just keep your paws crossed for us and keep them good waves coming.

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Bun morning, Everybun!

We’re doing pretty well. Tuesday’s visit to the v.e.t. went well; the expression wasn’t too terrible, and Charlie was in good spirits by the end of the day. Of course, we’re not talking proper “nannerini spirits.”

Thump!

The biped said something to Ruby, the Technician, about having difficulties gauging Charlie’s level of discomfort, and Dr. Learning came back with, Charlie has earned her right to daily Metacam doses.”

Thump!

That’s all good and dandy, but ya don’t wanna hear stuff like that! And we got a script for Gabapentin as an option, as needed.

Thuuuuuump!

But all that sounds about right for a M*nd*y, masquerading as a Tuesday.

So let me repeat: Charlie is doing well, and knock-on-wood, we didn’t need to resort to any extraordinary measures.

Today we just want to have a reset. Catch up on naps - loaf - art in the afternoon.

The sorry sod is trying to get his caboose rolling, so the afternoon is cleared for drawing - we didn’t do nearly enough of that last week.
