Freddie

If the bunnana is right - I'll tell ya what the parakeets were screaming! About you, of course; things I'd never say no matter how disapproving I feel.

P.S.: Freddie is about a "year-ish" old and, through a set of unfortunate circumstances, ended up in the care of Avian and Animal Hospital - and he's looking for a forever home.

 

Freddie is mainly made up of velvet. If he's not pure rex, he's mostly rex - and disapproval, of course. His litter box habits are somewhere between excellent and spotless. 

 

He does not seem to be bothered by birds, dogs, or cats - his temporary residency is next to other critters looking for forever homes, and other patients are going through the lobby all the time.

The Bunday Evening Thumps

Bun evening, Everybun!

The handsome devil got a clean bill of health yesterday. Got a little pawdicure, got squeezed every which way until Thumpday, and was all none too pleased. But, the doc and her crew were oohing and awwing all the same and just couldn't love on him enough. Thump! He has a girlfriend, you know!

And that's as good as things get sometimes. Then we napped, and even the hoomin loafed, and finally, this morning, felt ready for the weekend.

Now we're ready for the Bunday night festivities. I have a feeling it's going to be all art.

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Hellos, Everybunny!

I have a routine visit to my v. e. t. this morning. Nothing major, just my six-month checkup. Here's to having nothing to report tomorrow other than everybunny telling me how cute I am.

Oh, how the time flies. Just like that, we're halfway through October. I keep hearing how nice the "habitable zone" outside feels these days. And if we were the stroller-loving kind, we would know first paw, but we'll settle for the biped reports.

And aside from all that, I see a lot of loafing taking place today. And arting, I suspect. I'll have to pose for my story. Sigh.

P.P.S.: Yes, the Banana River is real, close to the east coast of Florida, next to "the Rockets." Gene Cernan, "The Last Man on the Moon," even managed to crash a helicopter into that river. And survived. Was he trying to go "bunnaning!?" We'll never know.
