Bun morning, Everybun!

We have, I hope, a routine v.e.t. visit this morning. All we want to hear is that Charlie is maintaining her weight.

The plan for today is simple. Return home as soon as possible, curl up under the bed if need be, and let Charlie decompress. We'll chillax, do some art, just stay in those pesky moments.

Here's to a boring rest of the day, without the need to post anything else tonight. And here's to stealing and freezing some more of those moments in pixels.

We'll keep you posted!

Squishmallow

You feel stunned; I know. You wish you could say something, maybe even clever. Sigh. Unfortunately, something will come to you. Just hang in there.

- Thank you, Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue and Erika!

PS: There's absolutely no need to feel jealous. It's not a competition - no bun and no one competes with that kinda hair super power. Squishmallow is just looking for her forever home. https://bhrabbitrescue.org/squishmallow/

Bun evening, Everybunny!

We're hoppy to report that we had a good arting night, and a great treat frenzy this morning. The plan is to repeat all that.

The bigger plan is to stay in the moment. And speaking of moments, do you ever wonder why we can't see a movie all at once, or hear a song all at once, but instead, we move through them in little chunks? If our numbers are correct, those "slices," "frames," or "moments" are about 0.03 to 0.3 seconds long.

Is that why we like painting and photography, so we can create and freeze the moments we want?

So, never mind the "one day at a time" business. When we're out and about in the morning and evening, the biped tries to slow things down to about 0.3-second intervals. Then he loses count, gets really confused, and consequently is late with the treats. He tries to make up for it with the head rubs, and we're not always in the mood for that. Now you see what a mess he is.

Trying to live with "it" is the hardest thing my hoomin has tried. And somehow, Charlie is doing just that. So why not take a cue from her and do the same? Of course, the "living" part of this is the hardest because lamentations, resignation, and collapse don't feel like "living," do they?

Today we did the fluids early, and will enjoy the rest of the day "hassle-free." And here's to having a boring week, and everything going well enough to check in with you on Saturday.

Good night and good luck!
- Gus
